The Pre-Photoshop Arabesque


This was the cover of the 1986 album "Island Life" with Grace Jones from Island Records. This move is pretty much impossible to achieve, unless you're photographer Jean-Paul Goude. Before Photoshop, there was just lots of frames and then lots of studio time working with the negatives. Dodging and burning, the good old days of photography. (Although I do love digital)

Arizona Ave. Train Depot


















Took these at this abandoned train depot off Arizona Ave. They're going to tear it down in order to make room for the new belt way project that is part of the ATL's attempt to make its mass transit not suck. Abandoned buildings always make for a great canvas. It's just a shame this art is going to be blown up, but not in a good way. And I apologize for some of the blurriness. It was dark and I was sans tripod.

Part-Time Canvas, Full-Time Bear Tamers


This is a project my homie Ben Salas did for his one of his type posters. It was a Spanish song about hands called, Minas Piedras. That's Spanish for... The Nino. He has swell hand-writing skills. It also tickled like crazy.
